Why I am a Phil MIckelson fan..
Plain and simple...he gets it. He gets the fact that he gets paid millions of dollars to play golf because people will pay to see him play golf...and he doesn't forget it.

We spent a bit more time at the course on Tuesday. We were able to use the disability carts to get around since my son has Cerebral Palsy...unfotuantely, they still didn't fare too well in the heat (96 when we left)
As we arrived, about 9:30 AM, Tiger teed off at a hole right next to the entrance (11th hole). We quickly made our way over to the 13th green in the hopes of seeing him. While we waited, we saw a quartet of past Major winners...David Toms, Justin Leonard, Ben Curtis and Todd Hamilton (all but Hamilton are pictured). After about 30 minutes Tiger made his way up the fairway.
After seeing him tee off on the 14th hole we made our way to the practice area. No one of real interest was there. This came as no surprise since 8 of theworld's top 10 we in DC this past weekend for the Booz Allen Classic (Including Ernie Els and Phil Mickelson, neither of which were on the course for practice while we were there).
We plan on getting up early...we want to get to the course by 7:00 AM...to see more players, and to beat the heat...they are calling for temperatures in the mid-90's.
Enjoy the pictures...there will be more tomorrow.
