New site - whoTheHellIsJeff.com

I have just launched a new site, WhoTheHellIsJeff.com.

It is a modified version of Doug Hughes' ReactorBlog, which is based on Model-Glue.

For, at least part of, the story behind the site, check out this entry.

Enjoy!

Work with Joe!

Joe Rinehart, father of Model-GLue, CF Developer Extraordiaire, and all-around nice guy has posted on his blog that there are currently job openings on his team in the Wahington, DC area.

Speaking from experience, Joe is a great guy to work with.  I learned more from working with him in a year than I did in several years in my previous position.

Joe goes 'ARF'

Joe RInehart is at it again.

This time he is giving us ARF (Active Record Factory).  Inspired by Ruby on Rails, ARF is a component that functions much like Ruby's ActiveRecord.

He even put together a video.  The code should be available to play with soon, but Joe is looking for people to help test it.

Got M-G Skills?

I am a big fan of Model-Glue.  It has helped me really wrap my brain around OOP.  Well, not only is the framework being used for an application at Macromedia, there are now some employers looking for experience in M-G.  Not bad for something that hasn't really been around all that long.

Wanna see?  Follow these instructions (you can't link directly to the search results)

On the Resulting page (as of today, there is one result),  click the 'ColdFusion Developer' link to see the details.  The MG mention is under 'Requirements'.

Nice!
