New alagad.com site launched.

Earlier today, a new Alagad.com site was launched. As Doug explains here, all of the technical content from doughughes.net has been moved to the new site. 

One thing Doug did not mention is that the new site, including the blog, is running using the latest version of FarCry.

FarCry was talked about quite a bit (well, at least more than I expected) at CFUNITED.  One thing that a lot of people had trouble with is installing it on their system.  Jeff Coughlin has posted some video tutorials on his site, but if you are like me, for tutorials like this, you prefer to be able to print the steps and follow them line by line.  That’s what this entry is all about.

Some members of the homowner's association for my development are getting together to discuss a new website for the community.  Based on what was discussed at earlier meetings, I realized that what we needed was a CMS.  Since they don't want to shell out a lot of $$$, I took a look at FarCry CMS.
