Let's try this again...

OK, so I thought the color green that used to be in the navigation menu, and on top of the pods would grow on me.  It didn't.  So here is attempt #2 at some new color.  I think this one is a bit more pleasing.

Andy J's Gravatar I like the green looks nice. Isn't green meant to be the most relaxing colour to the eyes? Your tabs in the global nav need some anti-aliasing on the edges (sorry if thats picky, its just something I always notice)

Scott Stroz's Gravatar Andy - Thanx. I noticed the anti-aliasing as well. Unfortunately, I got the images for the tabs from somewhere else. My PhotoShop skills are pitiful at best, and every attempt I have made to correct it, or reproduce the tabs, has failed miserablt.

Bryan's Gravatar I can slice it up for you. Do you plan to use an "over" state? If so do you want it get darker or lighter and would you use CSS positioning to move the background image around?
# Posted By Bryan | 8/22/06 4:36 PM
Scott Stroz's Gravatar Bryan - That would be awesome!

The original tabs were a bit darker on mouseover, and I do uss CSS to move the images during mouseOver.

Bryan's Gravatar Ok. I'll make a slightly darker version for the over state. The originals were designed to use CSS to change the placement of the images during mouseOver so that is how I will make these. I'll stack the slices so you can just use positioning to determine which part of the image you see as the background.

Bryan's Gravatar It looks like you got the links fixed. If you still want the ones I made I'll need to email them to you as it appears that my remote desktop connection to my home computer is down today. Feel free to shoot me an email (I assume you can get my email addy from the blog submission) and I'll shoot them over.
