I need to update my FireFox Extensions.

I know...I know...I need to update my FireFox extensions, especially the Homeland Security one.

First, to all of those who reported that it is not working in FF version 1.05, thank you, and I appologize for not getting back to you sooner.

Getting my extensions up to date and working on the latest version of FireFox is ow on my 'To Do' List (and pretty close to the top).  I will post here when the extensions have bene updated.

extensions user's Gravatar Thanks! Look forward to your updated extensions. Hope they work on the 1.1 nightly builds as well. For that matter, I'd forget the 1.0.x line, since 1.1 is due out the end of August.

another extension user's Gravatar When you update this, how about adding the option to use the icon label or a native text label, kinda like forecast fox.

Updating Extensions for Firefox 1.5 Beta [Work in progress] (http://forums.mozillazine.org/viewtopic.php?t=3085...)

(I did the code in 3 styles as I'm not sure which your web site uses. I did them in the order I guessed might be right. Hope it helps.)

another extension user's Gravatar I'm running Beta2 right now and have installed the extension. It works fine except that ever so often the label in the status bar comes up NOT AVAIL. When this happens the, the net connection in the systray is continually running. It's run for hours and the only way to make stop is to disconnect and reconnect. When I do this the label for the threat condition re-appears. What's up with that?

another extension user's Gravatar Until I receive an answer to the post above, I'll have to spread the word to not use this extension. It appears to be a "snoop-ware" extension which I'm sure is not the fault of the extension author. When the status bar label is n/a, this thing continues to exchange a whole lot of megabytes. How much of an exchange does it take to refresh the threat-level label? hmm. Sorry.

paul's Gravatar Scott,i have the DHS alert addon for Firefox 2.0 and i love it. since i work for DHS its VERY handy and is ESSENTIAL on my work laptop. i am writing to ask a favor. can you add a way to view the various sectors we monitor to the addon? for instance, right now the threat level for the general population is elevated/ yellow, however, the threat level for the aviation sector is HIGH/ ORANGE. the addon only displays the general alert level, and we need to keep track of the various other sectors too. if im out of the office, and on the laptop and see a change reflected in that addon it may prompt me to fone home and get back to my desk ASAP, and help me do my job. i would sincerely and greatly appreciate any effort you could make to this end, and i know several of my colleagues who use the addon would also like to see this very same added functionality.

Thanks,
Paul (last name witheld)
