We started construction of the deck today! We did not get as much done as we had hoped, mainly because we got a late start, and had to make several trips to the hardware store.
We were able to get the ledger board up, as well as construct both beams.
So far we have used almost all of the tools in my arsenal.
- Framinig nailer (rented this)
- Impact wrench
- Compound miter saw
- Table saw
- Recipricating saw
- Electric drill
- Cordless drill
- Drill press (don't ask)
Tomorrow, we hope to have all the floor joists installed, but we may need to make another trip to the lumber yard. Keep your finger crossed
