Wild, Wonderful West Virginia
Kudos to anyone who knows what it is. (I already figured it out). It's hard to tell, but its about 12-18 inches tall.

Joe showed me these pictures. They're guinea fowl -- at least that's what they look like. They're a common site in South African game parks (and in others around the continent, I'm sure). Didn't realize they lived in the U.S., but it seems they're farmed in Canada and apparently folks in the U.S. can raise them also.
Cool find!

I have seen them at a distance for the last few weeks, but today they wnadered across the street onto our lawn.
Originally I was gonna 'shoo' them away, until I found out they eat ticks.
All hail the Guinea Hen!!!
