1,000,000 Hits!!!

I can't believe this!!! Sometime during the weekend (I am not usre when because the remnants of hurricane Ivan knocked out my Internet access for most of the weekend) my website, boyzoid.com, registered its 1,000,000th hit!!

I know there are sites that get that much in a day. But to me, it is a big deal.

Most of the hits (over 900,000) come from a very simple web service I set up about this time last year. This simple web service returns the current Homeland Security Threat Level. I developed another recently that returns a random quote. This one has been getting quite a few hits as well.

Here are the URLs for each web service's WSDL:

For a self-taught developer, with little or nothing useful to say, I think 1,000,000 hits on a web site is quite impressive.

Then again, what do I know, I'm just an idiot.

steve's Gravatar taking a stab at this...do you have any sample
code that invokes a web service using complex
datatypes. for the life of me i can't get it
to work.
